How We Build – Our PEMB Process
At JB Steel, we make the construction process straightforward and hassle-free for our clients. Here’s an overview of how a typical pre-engineered building project progresses with our team:
Consultation & Planning: We start by understanding your goals, budget, and site conditions. Our experts conduct a Preliminary Site Review to foresee any challenges and ensure the site is ready for construction.
Design & Engineering: Our design team works directly with you, or with your design team as an expert in the PEMB field. We will assist you all the way to the final design and coordinate closely with the metal building manufacturers to produce detailed shop drawings that align with your needs.
Fabrication: Once designs are approved, steel components are fabricated to spec. Thanks to our partnership with top manufacturers, this phase is efficient and precise. During this time, our crews often start on foundations and underground utilities at your site.
Erection & Construction: When the steel arrives, our certified erection crews lift columns and rafters into place, then add purlins, girts, and roof/wall panels. We also install any custom features such as overhead cranes, insulation, or specialized doors. Our ability to self-perform these tasks means a faster build and strict adherence to JB Steel’s quality standards.
Completion & Handover: After the structure is up, we finish any remaining elements and conduct thorough inspections. We walk you through the completed building to ensure it meets your expectations. Finally, we hand over the keys to a facility ready for immediate use, backed by manufacturer warranties and our own guarantee of workmanship.
