Clear Span Construction
Clear span construction is the ideal choice when it comes to constructing a large metal building such as a 200' x 200'. This type of construction allows for maximum use of interior space since there is no need for interior supports or columns that would obstruct movement and block views. Clear span buildings can even be built using multiple spans and can create higher ceilings.
note: JB STEEL™ has built Clear span buildings in excess of 360 ft wide
Mid Span Construction
Mid span construction methods cost less than clear span for the most part but you lose some flexibility in terms of layout and design because of some verticle supports throughout the building.
